Boudoir -FAQ

What is Boudoir?

Boudoir is a private session with an intimate setting to create classy and romantic photos. We try and make you feel comfortable and we always keep it classy. We want you to leave the session feeling confident and sexy!

Why should I do a Boudoir Session?

You can do a boudoir session for many reasons, such as a gift to your significant other for Valentine’s Day, a bridal gift to your new spouse, a spontaneous gift to your significant other, or a ‘just because’ to show the beautiful sexy woman that you are.

Can I bring a friend or family member?

Yes! You can bring a female Best Friend or a preferably a female family member to help give you support and confidence. We do ask that you bring no more than One person, due to the room space. No guest photography will be permitted. Guest is asked not to interfere with the session due to the time limit.

Who will be in the room at the shoot?

The photographer and sometimes an Assistant that helps assist with Hair and Makeup.

What outfits and accessories do I bring?

It’s always best to bring a few outfits to the shoot. We can help you select an outfit that will work best with the setting. Boudoir is a sexy concept, so don’t be afraid to bring lingerie. Boudoir doesn’t always have to be nude or underwear. You can bring a sexy night gown, or your significant others favorite shirts or their favorite football jersey, button-down shirt, knee high’s, fishnets, etc…. You can wear any outfit that makes YOU feel sexy. Be creative. Don’t forget to bring some sexy heels and some jewelry, such a pearls or diamonds to add to your outfit. If you want the nude look with the white sheets, but don’t feel like actually going nude, you can bring a nude color tube-top and nude underwear.

Props are always welcome! Cowboy hats, Veil, Garter, his favorite tie…etc.

Do I need to do my own Hair and Makeup?

If there is a Make-up Artist available, that can be arranged. Makeup Artist will have their own fees. If you decide to get your hair and makeup done at the shoot, you will have to come 20 minutes early.

How long will a session last?

It Depends on the Package, but Regular sessions will be 1 hour.

What should I expect during my Session?

When you arrive, depending on if you decide to get hair and makeup done, Makeup and hair is done first. After, you will start your session. Don’t worry, You will feel nervous but we will try and make you feel comfortable. Don’t’ worry about Posing, We will instruct you on how to pose. You are always free to let us know what poses you are not comfortable with. But again, we keep it classy. After a few outfit changes, and some sexy poses,….you’re done!

When should I expect my CD & will it be mailed? Editing Process?

Editing will take about up to 2 weeks. I will try my best to make you flawless. Slight retouching includes removing acne, softening of stretch marks and cellulite. I don’t completely remove everything, We don’t want you looking too edited. I do not do ‘body reshaping’ editing.

You will have the option of either having your CD mailed or we can meet you to exchange your CD.

Who will see my images? Will my Images be uploaded onto the NICOLE BRADLEY PHOTOGRAPHY website and Social media?

Your Privacy is important!! We only upload photos by your permission. The only people that will see your photos are the photographer, (Maybe MUA), yourself, and whoever YOU decide to show. If you decide to grant permission, I will show you a few photos and you can decide which ones can be shared on the Nicole Bradley Photography Social Media.

Do you have any advice to help me prepare for my Boudoir Session?

It’s always best to avoid greasy foods the day of and a few days before the shoot. Drink LOTS of water to help hydrate your skin. Moisturize is a must!

Always try on outfits BEFORE coming to the session! Just to make sure all outfits fit the day of the shoot.

Wear comfortable & loose fitting clothes coming to the session. Wearing tight clothes or socks are not suggested. These cause red marks that take time to fade on the skin. If you decide to do semi nude or nude, please bring a robe. You will be ask to remove all clothing when you arrive to the shoot so any red marks can fade while you get your hair and makeup done.

If you decide to have your nails painted, please apply a fresh coat the day before or morning of. If you decide to color your hair, please have that done a few days before the shoot. If you decide to tan, please have that done a few days before the shoot as well.

If you decide to have hair and makeup done, come to the session with no makeup or with just foundation. Do not come with wet hair, hair must be dry and ready to style.

Any refreshments provided are for only the clients being photographed.

Remember this is a FUN photo session!! So let’s have fun! It’s a great way to feel pampered and to boost your confidence and show that you are beautiful!!
